1) Disable Secure Boot in BIOS
2) Log into your Ubuntu user and open a terminal
3) Delete the SBAT policy with: sudo mokutil --set-sbat-policy delete
4) Reboot your PC and log back into Ubuntu to update the SBAT policy
5) Reboot and then re-enable secure boot in your BIOS.

Do you know this kind of people that make you feel like shit when they try to help you?
They're not actually helping they just try to minimize your problem so they won't actually have to do anything.
But if they see that your problem is going to impact them they make you responsible for the inconvenience.
At this stage at best they ignore you and you're left alone to deal with your problem, at worst they expect you to make an effort to make life easier for them. And if you don't you're the selfish one who's not thinking of others.

So yeah. Right now I'm feeling pretty alone.

I don’t know if it’s because it’s a German song, but it’s the first time in a while I’m not able to find a song from what I could gather of its lyrics.

I ended up using the AHA Music song recognition browser plugin to identify a background song featured in a Twitch stream.

Anyway, here’s Kristall by 6315T. I think I get the gist of the song from the little I understand of the German and the frequent name-dropping but I wouldn’t mind some #help since I couldn’t find a transcript.

I'm on the market for a new gaming laptop, I put money down for a listing on Newegg sold by a third-party company, but it ended being not available (even though the listing is still up).

Here are my requirements:
- 4K display, 16"-17"
- 32+ GB memory
- 2+ TB SSD
- Keypad included in keyboard
- Budget: $2,800 - $3,200
- No Amazon
- Sold from the US

Can you #help me find a suitable offer? I've tried Newegg, B&H and Best Buy websites with disappointing results. Am I missing an obscure American electronics seller?

I played Jagged Alliance 2 (1999) about 20 years ago and while I remember it being somewhat of a tactical slog with sometimes indecisive firefights, I was able to get through about 75% of the game. This week I tried Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire (2005), a mod turned standalone expansion, and I ragequit during the second campaign mission (the airfield) because all 7 of my mercs were wounded by the time I eliminated just three guards.

I remember there was a fair bit of turtling, progressing slowly by crawling to the enemy positions, peppering them on the way, but this hasn't seemed to be effective in my new game, where my team regularly miss all of their shots while the enemies get a much better hit ratio despite carrying handguns and SMGs which have poor optimal range.

Of course, if my mercs get closer any faster than by crawling, they either get more chances to be successfully hit or uncover more enemies with more bullets coming their way.

Is there something I'm missing to be practically stuck at the second campaign mission?

I noticed a trend in the #videogames I enjoy: whether the floor can get dirty, and optionally be cleaned. This ranges from cosmetic trampled grass in The Settlers III (1998), tank tracks in Supreme Commander (2007) and muddy footprints in Graveyard Keeper (2018) to being a mood factor in Theme Hospital (1998), Rimworld (2013) and Project Hospital (2018) to the whole point of the game in Viscera Cleanup Detail (2015). I'm starting to believe this denotes a particular attention to detail I'm apparently sensitive to.

Do you know any others games making use of that niche feature?
