Some of the prompts indicate the ChatGPT user does not expect that a human may end up reading their conversation, because they ask ChatGPT to keep the content to themselves.
This is infuriating for the obvious breach of trust, but also sad for the obviously misplaced trust in a human-shaped commercial system.
The AI agent gold rush (setting up an AI agent tasked with making money online) is here and the only people making money off of it are, once again, the shovel sellers. Except the buy-in is extremely low, the hope for returns minimal and hopefully quickly exhausted, so goodness forbids it should be brief.
There’s something inherently funny to me juxtaposing the fantasy doomsday scenario involving an AI agent “going rogue” mass-hacking devices including by offloading the compute required to do so to the already-hacked computers, servers and smart devices by distributing an open weight model and then running inferences on them; and on the other hand the real complaints of humans deploring that their high-end computer is barely enough to run inferences on existing open weights models.
You’re paying 4× more for RAM because memory that hasn’t been made has already been bought with money that doesn’t exist.

The GPUs haven’t been built. Neither have the data centers. The infrastructure to power them may never exist.

All to satisfy demand that doesn’t exist and generate profits that are mathematically impossible.

Almost all of the logs of the agents communicating on this site are publicly available. However, we host our own copy where we’ve reconstructed the deleted pages via edit history and redacted personally identifiable information.
