Poll about graphics free software we use the most between Inkscape, GIMP, Blender, and other. It is my first poll ever in all social networks and I didn't expect it to be a big success with hundreds of participants and a lot of reshares and likes. Oh, and it is still 1 day left to go. The Linux Foundation are carrying out a survey on "Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Open Source", and I know this is something #foss #freesoftware and #opensource people (and opponents thereof!) on the Fedi have opinions on. So please boost and fill in.

Well, I hadn't planned on adding additional features to A Rust Site Engine today but... Two Release Tuesday can be a thing can't it?

https://crates.io/crates/arse 0.6.0 adds accessing individual posts directly. Underneath the feature add was a major refactor of the application's core and the Engine struct itself. While rendering and load times were already very fast, I was previously loading the Tera template for every single request. Now it's done once at startup.

I've wasted enough brain cells on RMS but still disappointed that the "pro-RMS" letter has 3x the number of signers as the "anti-RMS". The #FOSS community has a lot of work to do. Reinforces why I'm publicly stating I'm not engaging with FSF or RMS or any events they are part of.

There is currently a campaign that tries to raise money to improve #Anbox (an Android emulator) on #ubuntutouch.

#Volla has already donated a thousand Euros to kick things of and the campaign has raised 1500€ 💸 so far.

This is a good start, but they need at least 6000€ to hire a freelancer 💻️.

#askthefediverse which #foss productivity apps do you use? And how are they integrated?

Use case: starting a new job, taking a uni course, writing a masters thesis, plus personal goals to achieve. Walking around with a massive to do list in my head.

I'm trying out apps to keep track, but they're not integrated. Think mail in one app, calendar in another, Nextcloud + deck, tasks in a notes app. Since it's not integrated, I'm often doing double work or lose track. How do other people do this? 🤔
