* Are you an #Angular developer?
* Do you use #AngularElements?
* Do you concatenate your #JavaScript bundles together after a build?

Why?

I've seen this approach mentioned at least 5 times but never gotten a great answer for what problem this solves. What is the problem with multiple JS files and how does concatenating them solve that problem?

What are the alternatives to VS Code and Jetbrains' IDEs?

I'm asking because I don't like Jetbrains' push for AI and don't want to switch to Code.

"... the website loads in a special browser built into the app, rather than your phone’s default browser. In 2022, privacy researcher Felix Krause found that Meta injects special “keylogging” JavaScript onto the website you’re visiting that allows the company to monitor everything you type and tap on, including passwords. Other apps including TikTok do the same thing."

What the hell?? This is so creepy.

Angular + Tauri 🥊

@angular and @TauriApps form a robust combination for creating powerful apps.

Together, they offer an interesting blend of features, each balancing the other’s strengths and weaknesses.

👇👇👇

#Angular, is known for its completeness in managing complex applications. 💫

It employs a change detection mechanism and ahead-of-time (AOT) compilation, which optimizes apps by compiling components into highly efficient #JavaScript code before the initial load.

Did you know, it's now possible to fingerprint by HTTP/2?

On Firefox, I recommend you to disable the protocoll until we find a solution to either spoof it or break the fingerprinting method. It works even without #javascript.

I've had to install #npm on #Windows to fix a security vulnerability in a #Javascript library we're using in #Friendica, I feel dirty now.

At the same time, in parallel, make a frontend that doesn't push any client-side auto executed code to the end user (like those from #JavaScript ) as they consume too much resources, are a security risk to the end user and generally foster that infinite scrolling.

I love #Mermaid graphs but I would love them even more if they could be generated without #JavaScript. Can't find any library (#Python, preferably) that could do this.

Anyone knows of one?

Hey @alex what if you shipped #bloat with #Soapbox and set #Soapbox to default to it unless it detects that #JavaScript is enabled?

That would kill all those “you need JavaScript to use Soapbox” messages and enhance usability
