Hey @alex what if you shipped #bloat with #Soapbox and set #Soapbox to default to it unless it detects that #JavaScript is enabled?

That would kill all those “you need JavaScript to use Soapbox” messages and enhance usability

That would be really weird from a UX standpoint. The JavaScript code is all FOSS so there’s not really a reason not to run it. I could make the page look better if it’s disabled.
