Somewhere in the USA. High above the city, this abandoned penthouse cinema spans the top two floors of a narrow 10-storey building. This #ArtDeco era theatre started life as a vaudeville venue but appears to have fallen out of use when other theatres switched to movies.

In the early 1960s it came back into use, showing foreign and art-house films. Within a decade the cinema would close for good.

Impressive! I received @lentcine filming crew at home over the last days and they filmed me while drawing (on paper, but also with digital). They also recorded a long interview. They were very friendly, and that was great because it's totally unusual to draw and do my work with a pro filming crew around me, and my house changed into a film set.
It was a good time! ☺️

A photo I took with my smartphone of the crew of LentCiné while they were filming and recording me, this morning. She has a large dress and a stick, and some folkloric dress. It's one of the artwork where I was totally recorded with the high quality setup and good lighting of LentCiné crew. (LentCiné filmed me also doing digital drawing, and teaching to a school with my webcam and mic from home.)

#MiniReview #Cinema Today I watched Infinite (2021), an Antoine Fuqua action flick starring Mark Wahlberg, and I've never seen a #movie so inadvertently and completely void the villain's main motive halfway through it. The rest of the movie was hard to watch.
