Some 600 pages. I put so much effort into this wow....and the design, was really difficult to design a book about language. The subject was super complex but I am so so happy with how it ended up.

Over a THOUSAND pages long. Comic-book style design with superheroes and characters. By far the most difficult book I ever wrote or ever write probably. This made me have a complete understanding of what this global society is made of. I even created a mega search engine to showcase how a few companies own most stuff - unfortunately I had to discontinue it since it was impossible to update....but yah this book is the achievement of my life 😁

This one is a unique book in terms of the subject. Also smaller than the rest around 70 pages. The title is the core of the book and the design was also difficult and unique.

Some 300 pages and still relevant today. I looked at how the machines humans invented stack against the human machine itself. Difficult book.

Some 200 pages of pure joy. This one I really loved writing and designing.

People have no patience plus they use these tiny screens (phones) so reading them in this digital format heavily reliant on a landscape design....is a no no for most.

Sad. But maybe I will publish my next content in the same format if I won't be comfortable with making videos.

Anyway, thank you past me for spending so many years creating these. They are really valuable books and they completely changed the way I see the world.

Die Jahreszeiten wandern durch die Wälder.
Man sieht es nicht. Man liest es nur im Blatt.
Die Jahreszeiten strolchen durch die Felder.
Man zählt die Tage. Und nun zählt die Gelder.
Man sehnt sich fort aus dem Geschrei der Stadt.
Das Dächermeer schlägt ziegelrote Wellen.
Die Luft ist dick und wie aus grauem Tuch.
Man träumt von Ackern und von Pferdeställen.
Man träumt von grünen Teichen und Forellen.
Und möchte in die Stille zu Besuch.
Die Seele wird vom Pflastertreten krumm.
Mit Bäumen kann man wie mit Brüdern reden und tauscht bei ihnen seine Seele um.
Die Wälder schweigen. Doch sie sind nicht stumm.
Und wer auch kommen mag, sie trösten jeden.
Man flieht aus den Büros und den Fabriken.
Wohin, ist gleich! Die Erde ist ja rund!
Dort, wo die Gräser wie Bekannte nicken und wo die Spinnen seidne Strümpfe stricken, wird man gesund.

The Forests Are Silent

The seasons wander through the forests.
You cannot see it. You can only read about it in the leaves.
The seasons roam through the fields.
You count the days. And now you count the money.
You long to escape the clamour of the city.
The sea of rooftops beats brick-red waves.
The air is thick and like grey cloth.
One dreams of fields and horse stables.
One dreams of green ponds and trout.
And wants to visit the silence.
The soul is bent from paving stones.
With trees, one can talk like brothers and exchange one's soul with them.
The forests are silent. But they are not mute.
And whoever may come, they comfort everyone.
One flees from the offices and factories.
Where to, it doesn't matter! The earth is round, after all!
Where the grasses nod like old friends and where the spiders knit silk stockings, one becomes healthy.

Mesmerizing spider threads by Dr Martín J. Ramírez. Sample obtained by Dr Jonas Wolff. The image shows two exceptional silk threads of the Australian net-caster spider, Asianopis subrufa. Unlike typical web-builders, this spider holds a specialized, sticky net between its four front legs. When an unsuspecting insect approaches, the spider rapidly expands its net and casts it over the prey, a maneuver that demands dramatic extensibility from the supporting lines at the sides of the sticky net. These threads are composed of an elastomeric core encased in a sheath of harder fibers of varying sizes; the result is a structure that is both strong and stretchy. The mesmerizing, looping fibers in the image capture the eye with their meandering fiber bundles, which shift in their complex winding from large to small scales. The image covers 50 microns in width and was captured using a Zeiss GeminiSEM 360 field-emission scanning electron microscope under high vacuum and after coating of Au-Pd.
