No-AI and solid end-to-end encryption is the new tech hype.

If you don't invest heavily in solid end-to-end encryption, privacy-protective and No-AI features, you will be left behind. People might even laugh at you.

Tell everyone.

Public service announcement for artists: starting on 30 April 2025, Pinterest will start to use any image it finds on its platforms to train their AI slop machine.

You artwork might have been added to their platform without you knowing about it, because everyone can pin images from around the web.

If you want to remove your art from Pinterest, follow this guide (no account necessary):

(I'm in the process of this too and yes it's a pain.)

I love painting in the free painting software #Krita so here is a timelapse of a piece I did! ❤️ There is nothing more satisfying than the joy of slowly but surely creating artwork from your hands, mind and heart - a fulfilling joy those tragic ai-bros will never know #NoAI

Thanks to all of you who took part in my poll. So I have made my decision: I will no longer hashtag my art with #HumanArt, #HumanMade or #NoAI.

I've blogged about why this happened:

Thank you for making me change my mind.

A quick painting of Pepper at home sitting on a chair. Around her, the room is in fire. She looks like she realize something.

I was wondering, wouldn't using tags like #HumanArt or #NoAi just make it simpler for AI companies to scrape images by hashtag?

Even if you explicitly forbid them from doing so (with those hashtags), I don't think it would make a difference. They haven't really been considerate of these things in the past.

A problem with AI "art" is that using it to feed into datasets essentially deteriorates what an AI image gen is able to produce. Wouldn't those hashtags help AI companies?

@Chris Trottier
There are more and more people even on the fediverse who are OK with this because ;
- "we won't stop change".
- "in a few years anyway no one will be able to distinguish whether something was written by AI or a human".
- and so on similar....

Here my last discussion with a "content creator" and by the way admin of several instances of fedi (you have to translate from PL):
