A quotation from Carlyle

Every day that is born into the world comes like a burst of music, and rings itself all the way through; and thou shalt make of it a dance, a dirge, or a grand life-march as thou wilt.

Thomas Carlyle (1795–1881) Scottish essayist and historian
(Attributed)

Quasi Vollmond
Morgen ist die Wolkenlage unsicher.
Trotz auch heutiger Unsicherheiten bin ich dann mal zum nächsten "Hügel" gefahren und konnte das kurze Zeitfenster nutzen in dem sich "Luna" zeigte.

#Today we visited the #historic Taos Pueblo. The #pueblo was beautiful; the tour was informative. We learned a lot about the history and culture of the longest continuous community in the #UnitedStates. Photo is a #horno, a large outdoor adobe oven. These are still used by residents throughout the Pueblo.
A horno is a large domed adobe outdoor oven. This one has a small wood panel that is slightly open over the opening to the oven. The horno is a ruddy clay color. A large Pueblo is in the distance behind the horno and everything sits below a blue sky with a few scattered white clouds.

#today

Good morning lovely people! I've been sitting here for 4 hours waiting for the rest of the world to wake up. Last night, I had big plans for #today: go to the plant store, do some sewing, finish restoring the patio table. I now doubt that any of it will happen
