Under the 1st Trump presidency I can't say I felt great.

I needed some feelgood stuff and lo and behold! Nimbus and Campanule landed in my backyard!

They're actually the ones who helped me coming out as a trans person since I was "acting" as a man in the videos.

"Nimbus & Campanule" had no success on traditional video platforms but I hope PeerTube will help spread some of their joy.

I not only maintain a list of digital service providers that operate outside U.S. jurisdiction, but also a list of Fediverse sites that use non-U.S. domain extensions.

If these sites also use web hosting outside the United States, their websites could be fully outside U.S. legal reach — which is a smart move. 😉

Yes, #Fedilab has some differences between its Google Play version and its #FDroid version.
There are mostly due to restrictions from Google.

In the Google app we had to remove:

- Donation links
- Register an account on Mastodon (as they don't want to understand that the app doesn't collect emails).
- Filter some search results with #Peertube to exclude "YouTube Downloader" videos

To Google users, keep in mind you can easily switch to FDroid, we would be happy to help if you have questions

I've been successfully using @peertube for years now and it's brilliant software.

One feature I'd love to have: scheduled releases!

Right now I upload my videos unlisted, then upgrade them to public manually on release day. This is a hassle, and makes their published date look wrong.

(I'd also love the published date to be updated when a video becomes public...)
