When I search for a diaspora post (https://nerdpol.ch/posts/5a158090e865013b549852540039b762) on my #friendica instance, i get a Not Found - error message (with the diaspora post long link) or no result. (with the shorter link) ( https://nerdpol.ch/posts/11968677)

Besides, this cost would be the least of my worries. Administering and moderating the server are my biggest ones. Iโm fine hosting my single-user #Friendica instance because I only have to answer to myself, and Iโm pretty easy-going. But Iโm not ready to field kidsโ and especially parentsโ requests. Not that it would be a sure-fire hit either.
I don't use push notifications.
Have installed #Tusky, #Fedilab, ...
Afaik this just effects, how fast you will get notifications about... notifications... ๐ ... so e.g. someone mentioned you.
Mostly using #Mastodon (and #Mammuthus), i have to admit, but also installed a #Friendica instance once... ๐

wie ich gerade festgestellt habe, taucht mein Server in der Statistik auf Fediverse Observer als englischsprachig auf. Allerdings habe ich sowohl im Admin-Panel als auch in der
local.config.php die Sprache auf Deutsch gestellt. Muss ich da sonst noch irgendwo etwas angeben? So wichtig ist es mir ja nicht, das es meist kein offener Server ist, aber eigenartig finde ich es schon.#friendica #language

der @Heiko Mischer hat ein Problem mit einer Abmahnung wegen Urheberrechtsverstoร, bei den Verstรถรen geht es um Inhalte, die in Friendica รผber /photos oder รผber die Suche gefunden wurden. Er hat einen Friendicaserver nur fรผr sich und brรคuchte:
- Eine Person die ihm technisch helfen kann, damit er herausfinden kann, ob die Inhalte ggf. nicht auf seinem Server lagen oder ob die Inhalte erst auf seinen Server geladen wurden durch die Suche nach eben diesen Inhalten.
- Freut er sich sicher รผber Tipps, gab es schon mal einen Fall wie diesen oder kann hier jemand gute Rechtsberatung empfehlen?
- Mรถchte er andere Admins warnen, dass diese sich bewusst sind, dass je nach Konfiguration fremd erstellte Inhalte รถffentlich bereitgestellt werden.

Is there a way to mark spoiler or CW in #Friendica comment, that would be portable to #Mastodon? I know, that M. for some reason treats F's post title as CW, but comments have no titles; and M apparently shows spoiler tag from BBcode by... displaying full text prefixed by unclickable and inactive text โclick hereโ.

2 questions about events:
1 i did a test #event (via calendar) and deleted it.
its gone from my friendica account but it still show up when i look at my profile from a mastodon account.
how can i delete it completely?
2 can i attach a pic to an event? (instead of my profile pic). again viewed from a mastodon account
what is the way to fix a contact that was wrongly detected as feed instead of activity pub? I can not even mentions these contacts and wonder how this can be fixed?

Teste gerade eine andere Fediverse Software noch und da konnte ich das ohne Problem einbinden und auch bei #friendica abspielen
Kann es sein das ich per #friendica keine Videos teilen kann?
Denn wenn ich ein Video an den Post mit anhรคngen will, wird zwar versucht das hochzuladen, aber dann bricht es ab.
