Rebooting TROM! These are our goals if you can help:

We can increase the storage space for TROM Files up to 50GB for each user. We can start a new video series, bring back TROMnews, make an app for VideoNeat, and more.

We only need a minimum of help. A handful of people willing to donate 5 Euros a month.

Since we do not bullshit you with "you send us money and we will give you a special treatment" then it is harder to find people to help us since everyone is used to being "rewarded" for their help.

But we want to keep everything that we do trade-free for EVERYONE.

We could easily say "If you donate we will give you more storage space on TROM Files" or more advantages for any of our services.

But we NEVER did that, and NEVER will.

Therefore, if you see the value in what we do - and please see here https://www.tromsite.com/donate/ all of what we do (scroll down to see it all), then please support us with this campaign.

The hopes are low, but then the surprises can feel a lot better.

It is finally time to take care of TROM. The website got a bit updated/fixed here and there. We also updated the Donation page. There are 89 people who donate 5 Euros a month. Thank you so much!

Soon we will add goals to the donation page, and if we reach those we can release some new stuff and/or increase the storage for TROM Files for everyone and so forth.

If you can donate and support the so many projects we do, see https://www.tromsite.com/donate/

And check the main page if you want to see what we are doing https://www.tromsite.com/

Content warning: We heard you left Twitter for an open-source alternative?

The free open source livestreaming platform OwnCast has set up a demo server at:

https://watch.owncast.online

It currently runs a loop of videos by people who self-host their livestreams using OwnCast, along with short videos promoting other libre projects.

If you run a free open project and have a short video (under 1 minute), you can have it added to this loop by contacting @owncast.

OwnCast servers include Fediverse compatibility, so you can follow them from Mastodon etc. When a stream you follow goes live, you'll see a message telling you about it in your timeline.
