I think since the last git pull a few minutes ago most of the pictures in my stream are gone, as well as embedded stuff (maybe). Anyone else on develop missing the pictures of other peoples posts?

wiki.friendi.ca now got a WYSIWYG editor (link to plugin). Please let me know if there is any problems with the editor.

It can be deactivated by the user, but seems to be default. So please don't hit me if you love wiki syntax so much, just switch the WYSIWYG editor off.

When you now start editing a page it will look like this:

When you click the marked button you will get back to the page view, i.e. this:

If you then edit the page again you'll have back the much loved wiki syntax editor, i.e. this:

If you want to switch again you can click the red marked button again, see above.

I hope that this will help the average Joe to edit/create a page, so it hopefully lowers the entry threshold.

Please share this information/post along so it reaches the users who like the code editor more. 😉

I am not sure if this works for very complex wiki pages, it sounds pretty well and should support all the syntax, but please keep an eye on the formatting and such when you use the editor.

Now that we can see if someone reshared a post of ours, can we link that reshare mark to the reshared post instead of linking it to the resharer? Or will we implement notifications of replies to reshares soon as well?

Idea: My main concern is to be able to find the reshare and the comments it got.

Can someone follow the account c4@chaos.social from their #Friendica account and tell me if the latest local posts are from this year or from earlier?

Problem, the latest local posts that I can see are from 2019, about one year ago. I would like to know if there is a problem of some sort. I think the account has newer posts one from January and a boot from September at least.

Is there a setting to improve thread completion, so that #Mastodon threads are completed when commented on or liked? I see sometimes there is some replied missing locally.

I just updated #Friendica on friendica.utzer.de to the current release candidate. The Update went smooth, you might experience some small problems, usually these can be solved by clearing the browsers cache (sometimes STRG-R is enough, sometimes a restart of the browser helps, if all does not help ask ![url=https://forum.friendi.ca/profile/helpers]Friendica Support[/url] for help and mentions me as well with @utzer

Yesterday I saw that there is a folder in my web root which is called "proxy", but in /admin I have set that this folder is somewhere in /var/..., how can this then be in the web root path?

am Samstag geht bei mir in der Warteschlange die Post ab. Gestern waren es knappe 40.000 Nachrichten was schon um das x-fache mehr ist wie sonst aber aktuell schaut ea gerade so aus:

Knappe 150k Nachrichten?!?!?!?!.... Ist das ein Anzeigefehler, Berechnungsfehler oder kann das wirklich sein? 😮

I get a message that the worker didn't run for a few day in /admin, I didn't change anything, the daemon is running (I restarted it too) and I started /bin/worker.php from cli. Still I get this message.

Any ideas?
