Message Queue

Hello !Friendica Support,

after deleting about 20 to 30 old messages, the message queue has grown extremely and this delays the delivery of new messages by a few hours.

I don't know if it is related, nor why it did so, but using the daemon.php instead of the cron job solved the problem fo me. I went from a queue of 20000 to 0 in 24 hours.

I currently don't know about general problems in this direction. Question is if this calms down.

Yes, it calms down again, but it takes about three hours. Also, when I delete a single older post, the message queue grows very quickly to several thousand entries.
