A recent photo of a starling murmuration as if smoke from a chimney has been called a "fluke" by its Yorkshire based, UK photographer, Anna Tosney #WomensArt #Photography
The photo shows a starling murmuration, which is the name for the phenomenon of thousands of starlings flying together in a large, swirling flock directly above a tall industrial chimney. It gives the illusion of the starlings forming steam coming out of the top.

🛒☢️ This supermarket stands frozen in time following the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. Located within the exclusion zone, it was evacuated without warning and has remained untouched since.

This lost place was one of seven selected from my portfolio for National Geographic's recent feature on abandoned places across Japan.
