Had to head in to the urban metropolis today. I rather enjoyed this simple but expressive bit of graffiti combined with the broken glass panel & spring sky.

#graffiti #Scotland #photography

A photo taken through a smashed panel of glass. The glass must be reinforced in some was as it has stayed together very well despite shattering. Behind the pattern of broken glass you can see a blue sky with a lot of fluffy white clouds. On top of the glass someone has painted "youch" in black paint just above the central hole of the shatter pattern.

A January delight in this cold weather/ One little flower has bloomed to bring us pleasure 😀

This feels like a Monday photo to me. I do not understand how that shoe came to be there. So many questions. No answers.

#photography #Scotland

A square photo of some misty Scottish mountains. In the foreground there is a stone wall with a single walking boot, clean but with no lace, wedged between two stones. It is shades of cream and brown, matching the stone of the wall rather well. In the distance, slightly out of focus, there is a path winding through some grass with a couple with matching white hair and dark waterproofs walking away towards a mountain shrouded in a cloud.

A shadowy figure lurks in the darkness, behind the logo of Tales from Wyrd Scotland podcast.

I am really pleased with this photo. Straight off the camera and it looks SO WEIRD. So many questions. Why such a HUGE arched bridge over what appears to be such a small distance? Why only one solitary pedestrian using it? Where are they going? Where have they been?

I love it.

#photography #Scotland #bridge

A landscape photo of a wide road bridge (two lanes of road and a pedestrian path each side) in a high arch, taken looking up the steep slope. It is surrounded by green trees, with no sight of what it is crossing, but there is a large stretch of water beyond the land. On the right are two small white buildings, half hidden by trees. There is a single figure walking down the steep slope towards us. They carry a large, light blue bag. The rest of the bridge is empty.
