!Friendica Support Dear fellow #friendica people. There is an ongoing effort to improve the UI showing posts in #frio.
Please answer the following question(s):
- Have you ever used the checkbox on the very right?
- If you have previously used that checkbox, can you share your use-case?
This question came up during some recent work on improving the post UI. For desktop the action icon description is gone resulting in a less busy / cleaner UI. Another change being worked on is, to move interaction counters next to the action icon instead of showing them in a second row below.
Nicht sichtbare likes/dislikes bei Frio
Bei Frio habe ich am Smartphone das Problem das ich nicht sehe ob ich einen Beitrag im Stream einen Luke/dislikes verpasst habe. Weder verändert sich die Farbe der Grafik, noch bekomme ich es sonst wie angezeigt. Das hat man erst nach einen Reload der Seite. Das ist mir jetzt schon mit verschiedenen Farbschemata aufgefallen. Und es ist echt kontraproduktiv.
Gibt es da eine Lösung für?

Ich lade in ein Album ein Foto hoch, das ich als Hintergrundbild für die Startseite verwenden möchte.
Ich habe allerdings das Problem, dass auf der Startseite dieses Bild recht unscharf/pixelig angezeigt wird, obwohl ich in den Einstellungen zum Upload gesagt habe, dass ich eine Bildqualität vom 100 Prozent haben möchte, also keine Komprimierung.
Betrachte ich das Bild im Photoalbum wird es mir normal, also schön scharf angezeigt.
Das Problem scheint also nur in Verbindung mit dem "Frio" Theme und der Verwendung als Hintergrundbild zu bestehen.
Kann mir wer sagen, was ich wo machen muss, damit dieses Bild nicht so pixelig dargestellt wird?

Ja, das passt tatsächlich ziemlich gut auf das, was ich hier sehe. Besonders, dass es nur sporadisch auftritt und bislang nicht wirklich reproduzierbar erscheint.
Die Version müsste @Steffen K9 🐰 beitragen, ich bin nicht der Betreiber der Instanz.

Now I found a problem, when I am in the network stream or on the profile of a contact (like a just added one), there is a menu on the left which can be opened by tapping on the three dots. The menu then in many cases is longer than what can be shown on the screen. The problem is I can not scroll down in #Chrome, so I can only see the upper part of the menu. It just won't scroll when I push the page up or down with one finger. (normal way to scroll)
Can someone check if the problem is present on their device, if so let me know what system and which browser you use.
Mine is #Android 10 with #Chrome and I am in the current develop version of Friendica, but the problem seems to be there in stable too.

Did anyone work on the #Frio theme of #Friendica and changed the red color for the number of unread messages/events and such?
It looks different since 2 days or so and I wonder if that was due to a change or is due to something strange my Firefox is doing? It is still red, but different.

Unescessary Icons in Frio - Theme Clean Up
- The network indicator (Friendica, Mastodon, Pleroma .... without a hyperlink) and
- an extra icon for an external link to the original post on the original network/server.
How about we join those two icons to the network indicator icon with a hyperlink to the original post on the original server ? This would clean up the interface a little and the logic for both icons is still kept.
How do you think about it?

Hallo Zusammen, ich nutze hier auf meiner Friendica Instanz als Theme Frio. Nun ist die Hintergrundfarbe in den Benachrichtigungen mit der angezeigt wird ob man eine Benachrichtigung schon gelesen hat ein sehr helles blau. So hell das man es unter ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen kaum bis nicht sieht.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das anzupassen?

Frage | Frio Theme nicht für Smartphones gedacht?

Hallo Zusammen, ich nutze Friendica ja am Desktop, auf dem Smartphone und auch auf dem Tablet. Dabei kommt das Theme Frio zum Einsatz. Allerdings ist mir dabei aufgefallen das beim Erstellen von Frio offenbar nicht viel Wert auf die Nutzung auf dem Smartphone gelegt wurde. Oft wird der Platz sehr ineffektiv genutzt und das Erstellen und Kommentieren von Beiträgen ist ein Krampf. Das sieht dann so aus:
Dank @Steffen K9 🐰 weiß ich inzwischen wie der klassische Composer aktiviert werden kann. Das sieht dann beim Erstellen von Beiträgen folgendermaßen aus, also um Welten besser:
Meine Frage ist nun wie Eure Erfahrungen mit Friendica und Frio im Zusammenhang mit dem Smartphone ist. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl das es nur auf den Desktop optimiert wurde.

Hallo Zusammen, ich bin ja noch am Experimentieren mit Friendica. Nun bin ich darauf gestoßen das ich wenn ich das Theme Frio verwende beim Erstellen von Beiträgen gar keine Bilder bzw. Videos hochladen bzw. bestehende Bilder einbinden kann:

Frage | Ist das beim Friendica Thema 'Frio' mit den schlechten Kontrasten so gewollt?
Ich weiß das das Theme Frio noch als experimentell und in der Entwicklung gekennzeichnet ist. Dafür ist es aber schon ziemlich gut. Was mir jedoch negativ auffällt sind die verwendeten Farben. Den der Kontrast von z. B. hellblauem Text auf einem weißen Hintergrund ist nicht so toll. Ist das so gedacht oder werden da noch Veränderungen kommen?
