Unescessary Icons in Frio - Theme Clean Up
Since some time there are on the upper right side 2 icons on each post and comment


  • The network indicator (Friendica, Mastodon, Pleroma .... without a hyperlink) and
  • an extra icon for an external link to the original post on the original network/server.



How about we join those two icons to the network indicator icon with a hyperlink to the original post on the original server ? This would clean up the interface a little and the logic for both icons is still kept.

How do you think about it?

I disagree with this specific change. the Link to Source link is important and should be clearly visible and identified. Currently it uses an ubiquitous icon that prevents the need for an accompanying label.

On the contrary, the network icon always has been inert and should stay this way. I'm not against moving the network icon in the post metadata line with the date and location, but both definitely shouldn't be merged.

I’m not even quite sure about the motivation to change anything to this icon and this link. There always was an icon and a button in this corner when it was the dropdown menu. I don’t think it’s a necessary cleanup and the first way it was suggested would actually be detrimental to usability.
