I’m working on a new pottery surface design technique. New to me, at least: they have been doing this for many hundreds of years in Asia:

Carving a clay stamp, firing it, then using it o stamp the clay while it’s still a little bit soft. It reminds me of the thought process when printmaking.

I’m going to use a celadon style glaze to bring out the texture and beauty of the porcelain clay.

A slightly weathered (yellowish) marble #statue of a baby positioned near the main gate of a house in the neighborhood. Liked the placement of the statue in the middle of the shrubs (or #plants).
