#Debian has been moving more towards the deb.debian.org mirror which is provided by a single CDN company, #Fastly. It works well, but also feeds an enormous amount of #metadata to a single company, and it can be used to track computers and maybe even people. And the privacy policy in effect is unclear. Fastly says the #privacy policy of the "subscriber" applies, but the privacy policy for deb.debian.org is not listed anywhere I could find. Anyone have any insight here?

@grin @euronews @fdroidorg
That's why they do collect #PhoneNumbers: as to allow bith #MassSurveillance and #TargetedSurveillance based off #Metadata, and that metadata is being used to murder people, as admitted by the #NSA.

So don't be a fool, m8!

@kkarhan @euronews @fdroidorg You are asking why ServiceA is not ServiceB instead.
Why a centralised service is not decentralised? Why a service chosen phone numbers as external verification doesn't do it differently?
If you dislike Signal, use something else, don't try to tell them to change their service. You may make suggestions, but demands aren't the way it's working.

Every subsequent update of the #LastPass breach makes it worse. The latest one makes it clear that someone, somewhere, is probably putting a room full of discarded mining GPUs to work trying to crack that master password. Since the URLs are in plain text, whoever has the data has a list of all websites that a user cared enough about to make and store accounts on. That #metadata is going to be very useful for someone, somewhere. That the data hasn't yet popped up leaked or for sale hints that this could be yet another state-sponsored effort.

PS I highly recommend @bitwarden for all your credential manager needs, and please pay them to host it for you.
