Die einen sind wirklich "öffentlich" (nannte sich auch mal "Fanpage"), z.B. dieses, was ich erstellt habe: https://anonsys.net/profile/exit_revival
Die Inhalte sind auch ohne Account sichtbar.
Die Inhalte von anderen Foren / Gruppen sind aber außerhalb des Fediverse nicht zu sehen. Bspw. hier bei filme & Serien, sieht es ohne Account so aus:
Wenn ich es von meinem Account aus aufrufe, sehe ich die Inhalte dagegen:
von Mastodon aus dann aber (entsprechend weniger übersichtlich) im Mastodon-Style dargestellt:
Und dann müsste es als dritten Typ noch die geschlossenen Gruppen geben, deren Inhalte nur Gruppenmitglieder sehen können. Also diese "Groups" (Text ist von 2022 von @Tobias : ist das noch aktuell so?) . Das dürfte aber mit Mastodon etc. wieder nicht funktionieren.

Update Friendica Public Server list to a searchable database (or remove)
Dear all, to attract new FRIENDICA users, the server selection is the first barrier any new user will encounter, so the [em]confusing, out-dated and user-unfriendly directory for public servers[/em], of which many are not "public" (family-servers, testing, ....) will scare away many potential users. Better to delete and point to other similar services, eg fedidb.org.
What do others think?

Can I follow friends on #BlueSky from #Friendica (and specifically from Libranet)? I haven't managed so far. I tried searching for their profile URL with /rss at the end, but nothing is found. I've seen some conversations about this, but couldn't find a way to make it work.

Unwanted contact duplication
While browsing through my #Friendica database, I detected that I now have two identical contact records for myself. Initially, they were these records in table contact:

But now, something has changed to

I have no clue, what has initiated this change, whether it is bad (I assume so) and how to cure it.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Improvements for TROM.tf :
Our TROM Social first page (login) is not anymore just an empty page with a simple login, it provides you a peek into the fediverse:
Now you can see what's going on on the network, maybe to convince you to join 😀. It took a lot of CSS and HMTL gymnastics to achieve this. From my tests on desktop with mobile emulators all looks good on mobile, but for some reason when I check it on my phone it does not look as it should....I shall investigate.
Implemented some dark toggles for some of our services, where it was doable, such as Call

Speed
And made our TROM Call, Jitsi Meet, more reliable.
Lastly we spent many days trying to figure out how to make our Peertube Live work better. Hours of tests, lots of logs. Hopefully we can make it more reliable.

Breitenloses Leerzeichen Friendica
Ich bei Mastodon das "Breitenlose Leerzeichen" für die Trennung von Hashtag-Text kennengelernt. Das scheint bei #Friendica nicht zu funktionieren.
Mache ich da vielleicht etwas falsch oder ist die #Friendica-Suche anders programmiert als die allgemeine (Fediverse-)Suche?
Gibt es eine offizielle Beschreibung, wie #Pleroma und #Misskey das handhaben? Oder Reverse Engineering? ActivityPub scheint mir dies nämlich nicht vorzusehen.
Und bzgl. Umfragen... da interpretiert #Mastodon auch etwas anders. Mit #Mammuthus habe ich auch das auch so umgesetzt. #Friendica bei eingehenden Umfragen auch im Mastodon-Stil? Oder anders?
Kann mich mal jemand über die neuen #Friendica Relays aufklären?
Also diese kann ich ja unter Nutzerkonten selbst erstellen. Reicht es wenn ich diversen Hashtags folge? Werden diese Beiträge dann automatisch von diesem Relay geteilt?

I updated my two #Friendica servers to 03.2024 some days ago, the db update and the postupdate tasks on server A were still running today, I stopped them and restarted them now, it seems it takes quite long.
On the other server (B) I get the following error in cli:[Error] Cannot get cache entry with key openstreetmap:Rungestraße 20, Berlin
I execute this commands:
git fetch
git pull
bin/composer.phar install --no-dev
cd addon
git fetch
git pull
cd ..
bin/console dbstructure update
bin/console postupdateHappy for any tips how to solve that error.
Server A shows the following in /friendica:
This is Friendica, version 2024.03 that is running at the web location https://social.yl.ms. The database version is 1557/1557, the post update version is 1544/1550.
Server B shows the following in /friendica:

#Friendica gives me a very strange error.
I have 4 browsers installed on my PC.
In one I have friendica open with the user administrator.
On another is the user I normally use.
A week ago I added a new user to friendica, but I can't get into his account through any browser. Not even on my mobile phone.
After that, I tried to log in to the account of my normal user through another browser, both on my PC and on my phone, but I always get the same error.
At the moment I seem to be able to access my normal account via just the same browser (the same with the admin).
What could be happening?
Da ist im Gegensatz zu Mastodon kaum was zu finden.
Inzwischen löse ich mich vollständig von den Timelines, die mir im Standard von meiner Fedi-Software vorgeschlagen werden. Stattdessen produziere ich mir meine eigenen Timelines, die sich exakt an meinen persönlichen Bedarfen orientieren oder thematische Ecken das Fediverse ausleuchten.
Das bedeutet nicht, dass der Standard nicht wichtig ist. Es bedeutet nur, dass ich mich nicht darauf beschränken muss.
Die #Kanäle in #Friendica sind das genialste, was das Fediverse in den letzten Jahren hervorgebracht hat. Danke @Michael Vogel für dieses absolut tolle Feature
