promotion and crowdsourcing campaign

but no idea where else to post this.Hi there!
I'm think about kinda a campaign to promote the categories mentioned in this post and a possibility to do some crowdsourcing/crowdfunding.
On the monetary part I'm not interested at all to take part in it.
Not in the administration nor the decisions about the distribution.
In other words I wont take part in those aspects.
(most likely I will try to take part in the discussion)
What is needed to go on thinking about it would be a (I guess bitcoin) multisig wallet created with #electrum.
For that purpose it's necessary to define/find the people who hold the keys, how many keys and the kind of multisig wallet.
(2/3, 2/4, 3/5, 3/6 for example)
If you are not familiar with the terms just ask as many "stupid" learning questions as you want.

Problems installing friendica 20.21 04 on shared host

Installing a new friendica site.
Last time I installed 2019.12 and didn't have mayor problems in the initial step browsing to the domain for the first time.

This time I ran into two required problems.
After adding the "Command line PHP" path i get this:
PHP cli binary Requirement not satisfied RequiredPHP executable is not a php cli binary; it could possibly be a cgi-fgci version.

What to do?

I got a some "Newsaccounts", there is @hubsiundhorsti2.0, @Andre Meister (Inoffiziell) and @NilsMelzer, I follow all of them from @utzer, but @hubsiundhorsti2.0 and @Andre Meister (Inoffiziell) do not show any contacts in their contacts, as if there is no followers at all. But @NilsMelzer has plenty of followers.
All accounts are "Newspages" or in Germany "Nachrichtenseiten".
What is the reason for the newer @hubsiundhorsti2.0 and @Andre Meister (Inoffiziell) not having any contacts?
Anyone a tipp how to check, maybe pull the feed a thousand times an check if Nitter delivers the wrong one at some point? I am following the feed in my feed reader, but there I did not have this problem yet, while Friendica had this before already.

Is there a command to wipe the #Linux temp folder? Not rm -rf or so.

I saw there is alot of fuss about #Friendica now supporting Mastodon clients with the new API that @Michael Vogel implemented, so I thought lets try some client for GNU/Linux and took the first one Searx returned, it is called Tootle and available via standard Ubuntu repository.
Installed it, entered the domain of my instance, it opened some oauth page where I clicked on yes... and nothing happens, but Tootle expects some "Code" to be entered.
- Maybe someone is brave enough to install this Electron (I think it is) based client and can confirm my problem.
- Can suggest some other client for now?

any of the developers know why the view of tag search is different from the other message views (like /network)?
I would like to be able to like or reshare posts there directly, also would like to see the last few comments... just like the other views.
So generally I wonder why this tag search results are shown in a different layout, couldn't the same layout be used there as for /network?
anyone any idea what this messages in journalctl mean? I got lots of these before my server crashed and have no Idea what this is.

Muss mal eine Frage zum Erstellen von Beiträgen loswerden: Wenn ich einen Beitrag erstelle und über das Heftklammern-Symbol eine externe Seite per URL referenziere, dann wird diese lediglich als Teaser ohne Bild in meinem Beitrag eingebunden - siehe Screenshot.
Wie kann ich es erreichen, dass zusätzlich auch des Teaserbild der Seite in meinen Beitrag eingebettet wird? Dass das geht, sehe ich anderswo bei #Friendica.

And screw your useless popularity contest between #ActivityPub and #Diaspora, I'm reading your useless drivel over ActivityPub because you yourself chose Mastodon to share it, and I would have read it the same if you chose Diaspora because the Diaspora protocol is open and #Friendica supports both ActivityPub and Diaspora protocols.

It works fine on #Friendica, it reposts from Twitter via a Nitter RSS feed (see the profile for details), but when it arrives on #Mastodon it lost all the photos.
Any idea where these are lost?

the #ActivityPub protocol doesn't allow hashtag following in the sense that all posts with that tag get into your timeline.
Didn't find much about that on the internet Can somebody confirm this? This would explain why Friendica doesn't do it either.

I've seen the introductions tag more frequently on Mastodon, and since we can now interact with Mastodon users and pin posts in #Friendica, I finally took the time. I think I wanted to explicit my social media policy more than anything else, but I felt it was a good fit for an introduction post.
Interestingly, I personally can't stand these conversational non-specific posts. Not only do I have nothing meaningful to reply, but they generate quite a bit of engagement which takes actual space in my #Friendica feed.
I've got nothing against the people doing it, it just is a personal social media pet peeve of mine.
I apologize for this problem. As the photos were lost over a course of a few days, while moving the data from one supported storage type to another (within Friendica), I decided I will not roll back the system, as this would have meant to loose all data from the time the fault was discovered to the rollback time.
Please feel free to reupload or reshare all the pictures and add new uploads!
