promotion and crowdsourcing campaign

@Friendica Support

offtopic,
but no idea where else to post this.

Hi there!
I'm think about kinda a campaign to promote the categories mentioned in this post and a possibility to do some crowdsourcing/crowdfunding.

On the monetary part I'm not interested at all to take part in it.
Not in the administration nor the decisions about the distribution.
In other words I wont take part in those aspects.
(most likely I will try to take part in the discussion)

What is needed to go on thinking about it would be a (I guess bitcoin) multisig wallet created with #electrum.
For that purpose it's necessary to define/find the people who hold the keys, how many keys and the kind of multisig wallet.
(2/3, 2/4, 3/5, 3/6 for example)

If you are not familiar with the terms just ask as many "stupid" learning questions as you want.

Friendica Support reshared this.

What categories? What promotion? I understand the crowdfunding part but I'm not sure I understand where the money would go.
What categories?

Refers to the categories field of the friendica post.
The same as the hashtags:
friendica - fediverse - federatedweb - activitypub

I'm not sure I understand where the money would go
To friendica development, friendica coders → the friendica community.

What promotion?
Campaign to promote friendica, the fediverse, the federatedweb and activitypub.
With "campaign" I mean doing any kinda of publicity like pulling out tweet's, writing post's and articles.

Point is that we have no way to say:
"¿Wanna support, send btc to the following address!".
Doesn't matter who tries to call the attention for friendica and the fediverse/federatedweb.
We have no reasonable/logical way to address the decentralized bitcoin community witch by itself is a big community, has financial resources, interest in working decentralized and is an important echochamber to promote friendica. Not for to support us and neither to expose us as a logical partner if we even have no btc funding address.
Got it, thank you for the elaboration!
@Hypolite Petovan

I guess that's it basically.

Can you have a look at the link above?
It's supposed to be geoblocked so not sure how it looks from over there.

The tri-lingual inversion show case site is finished so far.
