Say No to UK #ID for online access

Don’t make us show ID to go #online.

Tell #UK Government to:

• Protect #children without making everyone have to provide ID to use everyday websites, apps
• Stop #tech companies using our personal data to target us with harmful ads, content
• Tackle causes of online #harm instead of forcing ID checks
• Support social media models that put people in control

With ID checks, our speech is not #free

Say No to ID for online access

Protect people. Regulate powerful platforms. Keep the internet open. The Government is planning to introduce tough new laws that require all adults to show ID to access to go online. They say this is to keep under 16s off social media.

Day 27 of #100DaysOfRust

Yesterday I took a break from learning #Rust. Today I continued learning #RustLang in the morning. Then I did the #37c3 watched some interesting shows #online. Now doing the two things in parallel is almost impossible for me, so I'm getting to the end of the introductory course a little slower. That's OK for me, both are very lively. Tomorrow will be similar 😃🦀
