The Thomas House, Dublin is no longer accepting AI band posters. Good move!

It's got massive support from local artists offering to help bands who need work done, too πŸ™‚

Poster for The Thomas House, Dublin. Has their logo top right and a red circle with a bar through it (prohibit road sign) with "AI" in white in the middle.

Text says
SO FOR THE FUTURE (LITERALLY)
WE'RE NOT ACCEPTING
AI POSTERS OR FLYERS
FOR THE PUB.

We're right next to Ireland's biggest Art College, lads. It's not a good look.

WE UNDERSTAND BANDS CAN BE SKINT BUT RELYING ON SOME
EARTH KILLING APP FROM SOME PAEDO ISLAND BILLIONAIRE IS NOT
THE WAY. WE GOT BY WITHOUT IT AND WE'LL GET BY AGAIN.
IF YOU'RE STUCK WE'LL HELP
Yes it has been used here before but consider this the start of the end of it.
THANKS, HUMANS.

Re-sharing because I was really surprised, does it happen often for artists to stop performing a song during a live show and just move on with their playlist?

Went to a The Midnight show in Brooklyn yesterday and two things things happened I had never experienced before:
- They performed a remix version of one of their song they didn't produce themselves.
- They started to play a song, stopped a few bars in on the singer's accord, and moved on with the playlist, never to play it again.

The former was bittersweet, I enjoyed the nod to the remixing artists but I personally prefer the original version.
The latter was absolutely gobsmacking to me. Maybe I'm used to sharper shows that give less leeway to the artist?

A photo of a gig we played last Friday with Lola's Dice. Probably the last one in a long time. We had fun!
