#Imagick again.
It seems the memory usage is worse again, could that be? My /tmp was filling up within 20 minutes, as it is the temp for php too it does then cause blank pages in Friendica.
Can we implement some temp/cache cleaning in the script that processes the #gif, I guess there should be something possibel. Is this something that can be done: https://stackoverflow.com/a/29089075
I disabled the imagick.so now, but as webm support is not really nice yet we still need gif I guess. I like gifs, not for the gifs, but for the short videos that they help to circulate.
I always wonderes why we use gif in Friendica but not just any video, but uploading and embedding a video is just not that easy compared to gif.
Also why do we need to process gifs at all, why can't we just not process the file at all?
