I don’t know if it’s because it’s a German song, but it’s the first time in a while I’m not able to find a song from what I could gather of its lyrics.
I ended up using the AHA Music song recognition browser plugin to identify a background song featured in a Twitch stream.
Anyway, here’s Kristall by 6315T. I think I get the gist of the song from the little I understand of the German and the frequent name-dropping but I wouldn’t mind some #help since I couldn’t find a transcript.

Despite their discography ending in 2003, they seem have been steadily touring mostly in Europe as recently as this Summer.

Re-sharing because I was really surprised, does it happen often for artists to stop performing a song during a live show and just move on with their playlist?
Went to a The Midnight show in Brooklyn yesterday and two things things happened I had never experienced before:
- They performed a remix version of one of their song they didn't produce themselves.
- They started to play a song, stopped a few bars in on the singer's accord, and moved on with the playlist, never to play it again.The former was bittersweet, I enjoyed the nod to the remixing artists but I personally prefer the original version.
The latter was absolutely gobsmacking to me. Maybe I'm used to sharper shows that give less leeway to the artist?
I both love and hate these songs with a slow lead towards a few powerful bars. On one hand, the progression is what gives the bars their impact, but on the other hand, I'm impatiently waiting for "the good bit".
