A little break from my recent Scotland photography run.

With the recent trend of murky, overcast and windless conditions here, we enjoyed a stroll around the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail in Clapham, to capture the last of this year's autumn colours. ๐Ÿ‘

A peaceful autumn woodland path through the Ingleborough Estate shows walkers strolling beneath a natural canopy of beech trees, their leaves displaying brilliant shades of amber and gold. The well-maintained gravel path, carpeted with fallen leaves, stretches into the misty distance whilst tall, grey-barked trees stand sentinel on either side, creating a tranquil tunnel effect that frames both the lone walker in the foreground and the small group of ramblers ahead. A moss-covered stone bridge with curved walls leads to traditional Yorkshire stone cottages in the village of Clapham, whilst two walkers pause on the path ahead. The narrow footbridge, dusted with autumn leaves, curves gently upward between weathered walls topped with verdant moss, creating a charming scene typical of Yorkshire Dales architecture, with the grey-stone houses and their distinctive sash windows providing a quintessentially British backdrop.
A stone footpath strewn with autumn leaves winds its way through verdant woodland towards a dramatic waterfall, which cascades through an ancient stone arch bridge in the Yorkshire Dales. The stepped path, bordered by a wooden handrail and lush vegetation, leads viewers' eyes naturally to the tumbling white waters of Clapham Beck as it flows through multiple tiers beneath the weathered stonework, whilst the surrounding trees display the golden hues of autumn. A dreamy woodland scene captures the essence of autumn in the Yorkshire Dales, where Japanese maples display vibrant coral-red leaves amongst the yellowing foliage of native trees. The misty atmosphere softens the forest's depths, whilst the rough-barked trunk of a silver birch stands prominently in the foreground, creating a striking contrast with the ethereal blend of emerald, amber and crimson leaves that dance throughout the composition.

If youโ€™re a British taxpayer, you can at least rest assured that some of your money was going to compensate the victims of British slavery as recently as 2015.

Sorry, did I say compensate the victims? I meant compensate the slave holders.
