Slight complaint about the new #Soapbox @alex but how come the menu slides from the left to the right if the button to open the menu is on the right? Shouldn't it make the menu appear on the right?

Ah interesting. It seems that fe.soapbox.pub works just by redirecting the homepage to fe.soapbox.pub/auth/external. Any instance on the dev branch can also let you log in with an account from another instance using the same nomenclature (see social.teci.world/auth/external)

Hey @alex what if you shipped #bloat with #Soapbox and set #Soapbox to default to it unless it detects that #JavaScript is enabled?

That would kill all those “you need JavaScript to use Soapbox” messages and enhance usability

No error for Alex profile but getting the same when clicking through any remote profile from Alex timeline page. #Soapbox issue and not #Misskey.

Hi @team and @alex@gleasonator.com when view a post, sends me to Soapbox instance and then view the profile of user, it's showing error "This resource could not be found"

Does that mean Misskey is unable to process or is Soapbox unable to display the profile?

It will shrink your uploaded image to be the 1/10 of size than the original!

If you don't want to being shrunk, you better to take a look at the image size after you uploaded or don't use soapbox FE to upload image or ask Alex why he did that.

#Pleroma is the superior backend, and while #Soapbox is the best frontend in my opinion, some, (like @Marbleturtle) prefer how #Mastodon looks to #Soapbox

@alex something I’ve noticed with #soapbox concerning notifications. The count seems to just stack up, even if I’ve previously checked and interacted with them via husky. Is there any way to have them synced correctly or is it a limitation with pleroma?

I always thought #Soapbox was a fork of #Gab 2.0 (I think they must be on like 3.0 or 4.0 by now lol), which was a fork of #Mastodon

Frankly, I don’t think there should be any one chan. That seems very much against the instance-level personalization that #Soapbox is built around. I think there shouldn’t be any chan at all IMHO, and the instance should be able add it in if they so choose
