#Fedilab ist nicht up-to-date was die Kompatibilitรคt mt #Friendica angeht.
Seit die Friendica ActivityPub API sich im letzten Jahr mehr an Mastodon angenรคhert hat hakt es da. Und beim aktuellen Update wurde die Mastodon Kompatibilitรคt nochmal verbessert.
Die Fedilab Entwickler wissen bescheid und das steht auf der Todo Liste.
Bis dahin hilft es vielleicht Fedilab vorzumachen, es handle sich um einen Mastodon Account. Muss ich auch erst probieren.
Bis dahin funktioniert die mobile Ansicht von Frio erstaunlich gut. Ich hab sie als "Webapp" auf den Android Screen gelegt.

is there any settings or tweaks to apply to cleanup the database of #Friendica my database is growing so fast that I am running out of space.
And it is not only the database, but also the storage.
Is there a way to set globally the cleanup for posts and photos uploaded by users?
This gives me trust in the #protection of data and #privacy on #friendica!

When I select the "Forums" account type in the Network Stream, the forums from forum.friendi.ca are not displayed to me.
I have also created a user group "Forums" with all the forums I have subscribed to, but the forums from forum.friendi.ca are not displayed here either.

[abstract] and [/abstract] bbcode. The main visible text can be placed within these. Everything else should be hidden behind a CW.Except for yourself! You can always see your own messages in clear and the text from the abstract is weirdly hidden from you.
But you can check out if the hiding feature because of the CW works by opening your post from a inkognito browser/tab or so. ;)

i just saw in the worker queue that there is an "Add Contact" line for a contact on a blocked server. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

welchen Grund gibt es eigentlich in #friendica das ich beim Teilen eines Beitrags "folgenden Quellcode gedรถns" sehe ... nach meiner Meinung wรคre es doch logischer wenn ich den Beitrag genauso formatiert sehen wรผrde wie in mener Timeline und ich kรถnnte den dann mit oder ohne Kommentar teilen.

How is documentation maintained? There is https://github.com/friendica/friendica/tree/develop/doc and then there is https://wiki.friendi.ca
The information interlaps. E.g. https://github.com/friendica/friendica/blob/develop/doc/FAQ.md has a great client list while cvlient list on https://wiki.friendi.ca/faq/friendica#1azyfb982_h7xln57h4 (ideally the anchor links would be more descriptive) is completely outdate.
How can this be improved so there are not two locations that have to be maintained, while #friendica community is already struggling to keep up with documentation in one place.

Kann man ein nativ betriebene Instanz in einen Docker basierte umziehen? Mit all den Einstellungen und Konfigurationen.
Die Datenbank sollte ja ohne Probleme gehen, aber wie ist das mit den Webdaten (also die Daten welcher der Webserver ausliefert) ? ๐ค

existiert eigentlich eine Art Dashboard mit der man seine #friendica Instanz monitoren kann oder muss man da mal selbst etwas bauen? (sozusagen alle relevanten Daten auf einem Blick in einer Webseite) - Speicher / Nutzer / Workers / Auslastung etc.

My initial response was motivated by the software I'm working on, #Friendica. We offer formatted posts (correctly), photos albums (poorly) and events (poorly). We are able to display PeerTube videos (acceptably) in your content stream but no polls yet (work in progress). Even posting pictures is somewhat an adventure on Friendica, while it's a breeze on Pixelfed where it is the main focus, for example.

ja das weiร ich doch - aber #friendica wird doch vom Webserver bzw. รผber PHP ausgeliefert, somit lรคuft diese PHP App doch mit den rechten des Webserver oder sehe ich das falsch? Jede Datei die dann vom Webserver abgelegt wird und wieder angefordert wird hat doch auch die Rechte des Webservers, solange diese nicht extern geรคndert wurden.
Somit ist doch immer der Webserver bzw. der PHP Dienst derjenige der die Hohheit รผber alles hat. Das gleich passiert doch auch in der Datenbank - Der Webserver oder der PHP Daemon greift auf die Datenbank zu. Hier ist es egal ob du NGinx oder Apache laufen hast .... PHP ist in Apache ein Modul und bei NGinx lรคuft es halt als eigener Dienst ...
Aber Ok - ich will da keine Diskussion entfachen - also nichts fรผr ungut.๐โ
Ich denke ihr wisst was ihr da macht und hattet wahrscheinlich da schon Probleme, weshalb ihr alles in die DB schreiben lasst.
