The way that holidays have been commercialized and trivialized into meaninglessness implies that we shouldn't have meaningful holidays in this country. Just name them Holiday 1, Holiday 2, e.g.

Riffing off @evan 's poll, just what did you all #bake for the #holidays? Preferably with some background info, because I guess a lot of holiday baking has regional roots.
