I'm looking for a senior software engineer to join my team working on securing Wikipedia and our other projects at Wikimedia Foundation. We've got a huge platform, a great mission and a team of passionate engineers and product managers working together with the community.

Wikipedia just celebrated its 25th birthday in January, and there's a lot of energy to take on big challenges. Come help us tackle them head-on!

@Riku Silvola Thanks, I’ll submit an application later tonight once I wrote an updated CV (famous last words).
@Riku Silvola I've been reminded of this thread today and so it also remidned me I didn't get an answer to my application. It's fine, i was expecting this as a possible outcome, but it's not great to be reminded of it. 😰

@hypolite I regret you did not get an answer to your application. We receive several hundred applications for each position every week, and it is easy to get lost in the masses. It's always a good idea to reach out directly to the recruiter once you've sent in your application.

Our application form also has a field for where you heard about the position so if you're applying to something I'm posting, it's usually a good idea to put my name in that field.

@Riku Silvola Thank you for the reply here, I do understand your position and I believe Wikimedia is a place I would enjoy working at, so the absence of reply stung a little more than for other places I'd just be fine working for.
