Tom, how do you know this? Do you use modern apple equipment? Perhaps you're using an old fashioned notion of what constitutes an innovation. If i were forced to use windows, android, or linux, I would be thrown back to ancient times.

I do not know what new product you are referring to.

I’ve used new iphones, and new ipads, and my kids use some of the new Apple “Air” laptops. They are all just further improvements of the same thing, in my estimation.

Tom, yes you don't see any innovation because the innovations are not what you expect and so you are oblivious to them. You tend to work at a low level of abstraction on your machines if i recall correctly. Apple works at very high levels of abstraction, and that's not what you are particularly interested in, therefore invisible to you.
