Cross-posting images Friendica/Twitter

Hi, my #Friendica node (https://mexico-pensante.blog) is working and (very slowly) growing 😀

Cross-posting to #Twitter is still important for me because I have ~500 #followers there.

However, if I send #posts with #images to Friendica and Twitter, the Twitter version does not display the image; just the link. Obviously, that's a problem for getting #attention. As a consequence, I post on #TweetDeck and then channel it to Friendica. But I want to forget about logging into Twitter...

Any hint, on how to embed images in Friendica posts for #crossposting to Twitter?

Please link an example for a post that contains an image and their correspondent Twitter post. Normally this should work like a charm, I'm doing it all day.
Hi @Michael Vogel this is the comparison of the same post:

Lästig:
1) I have to upload the image to a web space before sharing it.
2) I have to post 'plain' text; without using the 'title' and 'categories' sections.
This isn't the same post, the text is different. Also the Friendica post is created by Tweetdeck, so it is a mirrored tweet.
In that post you used the function that is meant to link to another page. When you want to embed a picture, please use another functionality. Either you can upload the picture using the browser functionality or either use the functionality where you can embed a media element (when creating the post, you have got the several options below the edit window)
Thanks @Michael Vogel! I think I found the secret: Instead of just clicking the pen at the top-right, one should click again the edit symbol; then, an image icon becomes visible 😉.
