So it is just logical that „é” means End of the World. Une langue si logique !

(me trying hard not to be 'this' guy pointing out that échafaud was for death penalty by decapitation even before the guillotine was invented).😁
@A Sweet Gentleman It has also been used for "gallows", so decapitation is optional apparently. 🧐
And usually shorter means "more frequently used". 🤣
I don't want to contradict you, but the truth is that decapitation only happened at most *once* to anyone, which is almost always considered to be "not frequent". 😄
