Last time I spoke with my Mom, I told her to never call again. It was painful, but necessary. This morning, I woke up to 40+ calls from her, had to call back, knew it was something about my Dad, that's pretty much the only reason she'd dare call, and so much.
I was right. Dad's been diagnosed with cancer this morning. Considering his medical history, things aren't looking very good. Will know more in the afternoon.
But right now I'm broken as fuck.
