Enjoyed how serious @OpenTalkMeeting takes the user experience on all levels 🤙

...here is my little collection from #clt2024 😀 – by the way, check out the #tchncs :tchncs: #opentalk :opentalk: instance at https://tchncs.de/opentalk 😉

background is an old wooden, leddery desk, a big square opentalk themed microfiber cloth is in the bottom center of the image. it reads below the OpenTalk lettering "Have a clear view for your next video call." - on the left there are two NixOS stickers, one reads "NixOS must be installed on all devices in this area". On the two stickers is also one octagon shaped Ansible logo sticker. Next to them is an Ansible signature sticker where the A is the Ansible logo. Further above is a paperly looking pen, branded "Osssrox". On the right is an OpenTalk lettering sticker, a Framework Laptop USB module laying around and a Hostsharing eG checkered notepad with variants of their mascot decorating its right side. There is also a Fuju lenshood laying around for fun and a piece of Garmin watch bracelet

Another update to the #tchncs #opentalk instance: recordings seem to work now! 📼
Please mind that this is an early version of the OpenTalk recorder and it is possible that some edge cases make it unhappy. However i did some realistic tests and they have worked nicely. 😀

If you've ever wondered why you only sometimes see the person sharing their screen in #OpenTalk – their cam shows up when you move your cursor onto their tile. You can also lock their cam to the screen by moving the cursor onto their cam: it will show you three buttons. use the right one with the pin symbol.

would you find a use for a #mobilizon instance if it had the .tchncs.de domain?
or we could use this opportunity to add a new domain to the tchncs universe, making such a service more accessible...but i can only think of regions there...
