I've been trying to use #Friendica as an #RSS reader since accidentally discovering that it could be used as such. When I compare it to my previous RSS reader, I'm noticing that the entries in my feeds are being listed in an arbitrary and incomplete order. I have no idea why.

Hey Fedi - what are you using for reading #rss (if you use rss)?

I decided to get back into it after a long break, and am trying to decide between one of the providers and selfhosting.

I am trying to have it accessible and synced (including read posts) between desktop (probably web, but maybe a dedicated client) and android (FeedMe?).

Being able to fetch the whole article for select feeds is important, but secondary.

All advice and experiences welcome.

I have tested many RSS Readers, and there are some great ones, but Friendica also acts as one and does a fantastic job at. This was one of the features that convinced me to move form Mastodon to Friendica. The fact that I can follow anyone on the fediverse + any RSS feed....is just too good! I keep on saying this, but Friendica is really underrated. #tromlive

A new spam technique I just found out about based on DNS and #RSS: Take over a defunct domain that was hosting an RSS feed through #Wordpress for example, install Wordpress again, publish a new article that will be pushed to all former RSS feed subscribers.
