I’m uncomfortable with loitering on sidewalks, not as much because it’s occupying a public space which I’m fine with, but rather because it is overwhelmingly done by men. This begs the question: where are the women? What are they doing while these men loiter outside? Why aren’t they with them, either way?

At a professional conference my partner is currently attending, there's another woman whose husband was supposed to take care of their 2-year old kid while she was away for the week. Today, on day 2 of the conference, he called her to say she needs to come home because he's sick and take care of him and the kid. He has refused to call his brother or her sister who are 20 minutes away for help.

There's no happy ending, the woman is now rushing to pack to catch a flight back home this evening. Despite making me, of all people, look incredibly good, this shit is making me absolutely livid. How many women's lives have been absolutely wrecked by this kind of unchecked patriarchal entitlement?

The thought is dizzying me once again.

I've known online #gaming to be harsh for minorities in general, and I was wondering why this video game in particular was eliciting more #sexism than others. This thread actually answers this question: by making it hard to group with people you know because of level differences.

If you're a heterosexual man and are actively seeking to deflower women, you don't enjoy sex, you just enjoy defiling the supposed temple of purity virgin women are made out to be and as such should be castrated.
