Is Friendica stable 2021.01 already PHP 8 ready?

What is the state of the current dev version? Should I switch and set the log to debug before?

PHP 8.0.1 just hit #Arch #Linux, so when I do the next update I would get it.

@Michael Vogel would you and the other devs want to work on those now?

Are the commits already tested against php 8 by that automatic check?
@Michael Vogel and how stable it dev now, any showstoppers from your point of view?
@Michael Vogel yes, I assume so every time, therefor I started to ask you before I switch. ;-)

As for that update of the tables, your other post right now, can you add the commands to do the checks, like count the number of items and show the items in question? That was my first thought when I read this post.
@Michael Vogel also I am not demanding that someone does this, there is no urgent need for me to switch php 7.4 to 8.0.1, just asking if this would be problems someone would like to tackle soon.
@Tobias both fatal errors there are solved in dev it seems.
@Tobias so I can switch to dev and then finish all the db update and then update to php 8.0.1 and report the errors in the issue.

Are you running some test instance with php8 ?
@Tobias also an idea. Not so easy for me have a few php-* packages and some require to change some things when downgrading to php7*, namely php7-fpm uses different path and names for services, which I found on the wiki host today.
