I run this bot here: @NASAPersevere
It works fine on #Friendica, it reposts from Twitter via a Nitter RSS feed (see the profile for details), but when it arrives on #Mastodon it lost all the photos.

Any idea where these are lost?

@utzer looks to me like the photos are already missing on Friendica. The image I see on Friendica is from the preview of nitter's link, not an attached photo like on Twitter. Mastodon shows the preview to, just smaller. Do you see attached photos on Friendica?

@Gidi Kroon I see the embedded photos. So this is the reason.

So this I can't influence, so the @NASAPersevere bot can't attach the photos.
Strange that this is so different from Friendica to Mastodon.
