Squirrels, in theory, can survive a fall from an object of any height due to two factors: their size and their mass. A force (such as the force of gravity) is calculated by multiplying mass and acceleration.
130 feet down there are cemented floor... there isn't any tree around down there.... I don't understand why they have to come up on the terrace.. there are hardly any food but with a pack of eagles circling above...
Whenever a hawk comes to our neighborhood, the birds and squirrels vanish. I have heard that hummingbirds will frequently nest near hawks. The hawks keep other birds and critters away from the hummingbird nests in the summertime.

Despite this, if they land on a bush or tree with stiff twigs pointing up, they may get skewered. Some cats perish due to this problem.
