Hi Federati! Here's a few action shots from yesterday's field training day
#Dogs #dogtraining #dogfun #retrievers #field #chunderroad
A liver Flat-Coated retriever runs back to his handler, past a gun station, with a retrieval bumper in his mouth. A soaking wet Golden retriever picks up a retrieval bumper, ready to swim back to his handler.
A black Flat-Coated retriever finds a "blind" retrieve after being directed to the bumper by his handler A Golden retriever puppy enjoying his first field day.

has the field been successfully trained?
Yes, but we go back every month just to make sure
I’m in favor of training fields, but I think @12thRITS is more in favor of fielding trains
Damn right. Shouldn't everyone have a lathe like this one?

Sure, it looks like fun but those things are a real bitch to train.
I had a lathe turn on me once- not pretty
Those things are not pets and should only be handles by professionals, kept safely in Lathe Zoos or left free in the wild
That particular one is in the roundhouse of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
