People are complaining about how hard it is to set up a #Mastodon account. It makes me think about how usability improvements have made us unwilling/ unable to follow simple user guide instructions.

@grin it seems that the having to choose a server causes confusion.

I see, and that's understandable in the light of not having a real public stream (like in big tech services).
