I created an account on the Fediverse
*because* it is not Facebook,
*because* it is different,
*because* it is better,
*because* it doesn’t have ads,
*because* it is more respectful of its users,
*because* it doesn’t have an algorithm deciding what I see,
and *because* is has much better ethics and moderation.

I really hope it stays that way
