Dual monitor advice: Purposely turn down the brightness of your "secondary" monitor.

What I'd really love is a way for my desktop environment (currently Gnome, but this should count for windows too) to automatically dim other when content goes fullscreen on one monitor. But for now, dimming the other monitor works. #tech #computers #dualmonitor

I can see this being usefull for watching videos, or playing video game. But creative app like Krita (I go sometime full screen), probably not: I still need to look at references or videos on the second monitor. 🙂

@davidrevoy Definitely. I generally don't use my second monitor for this and usually just have music or web content that is non essential.

I didn't take into account tablet displays when thinking about this though. 🤔
