I know how to program but don't have the energy or spoons to really contribute to a large project...

So what do I do? I absolutely spam the living hell out of their issues section with feature requests for things I know the gist of how to make and want to see! (and the occasional curveball bug report to keep things fresh)

#github #friendica

Sorry @Hypolite Petovan !
@Shiri Bailem It's okay, I don't think anyone from the Friendica core team is sweating looking at the numbers of opened issues, we've been in the game for way too long for that.

I have had a hard time getting to work on the moderation screens, no matter how important I believe they are, so I'm 100% with you there. I've been mostly contributing small fixes here and there since the beginning of the year and it doesn't look like it's going to change too soon.
@Hypolite Petovan yeah, managing energy levels is a huge problem. If I didn't have to constantly exhaust myself with a day job Friendica is absolutely the kind of project I'd love to sink my teeth into.

I appreciate the work you do, especially the small fixes like the last few days!

And I mostly say sorry because my social anxiety tells me y'all are just rolling your eyes at "Oh, she posted *another* bullshit feature request when we already have our hands full with dozens of other more important things"
@Shiri Bailem Nah, it's fine, we have feature requests that have been opened for 10 years now, so one more doesn't change much. If someone picks it up, great, but otherwise it's fine too.
