What makes a 'cool' spaceship? Is it the way it looks? What it does? Who the pilot is? Can it just be one thing - a recognisable silhouette, an iconic cockpit…?
We all know which ships are cool, but why?

They become iconic if they are cool enough. Pilot is inconsequential for me.

•To be honest, it's mostly looks. I absolutely love the TIE Interceptor. It's the coolest looking space ship ever.
But it's so stupid. Field of view? What field of view? How do you land? How does this thing even work? Where does it have space for anything at all?
