Disregarding the protocol to shelter in-place, staff and students instead fled to high ground. As the wave inundated the school, this action saved 100 lives as water reached the gym ceiling.

@Obsidian Urbex Photography Did it reach the ceiling in this photographed building? The floor shows heavy water damage, but the walls and ceiling look pristine. I'd expected more visual cues of the water presence.
