As a social media experience, #Mastodon is vastly superior to other services. Trolls and ads are few and far between - and easily dispatched if they pop up. Yet one species still haunts this space: the Internet scold.
I often use humor - sometimes dark humor - as a coping and defense mechanism. So I get strangers lecturing me or accusing me of shit (both practices I strive to avoid). Is it really that hard to think I know what I’m talking about and just engaging it in a weird way?
